  2. Bellingham is the northernmost city in the contiguous United States, with a population of more than 90,000 people.

  3. The celebrated Ski to Sea race is held each year in Bellingham. This 93-mile long event competition starts on the ski slopes of Mount Baker and ends on the shore of Bellingham Bay. The seven legs of the race are: cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, running, road biking, canoeing, cyclo-cross biking, and, finally, kayaking.

  4. Coming in at #17 in the list of “Top 25 of Most Craft Breweries per 50,000 people” in the United States, Bellingham is a grand place to enjoy a good beer.

  5. Well over half of the raspberries grown in the U.S. come from Whatcom County, making Bellingham the “Raspberry Capital” of the nation.
